An extract of a teacher’s diary:
An English teacher living on the same floor told us to assemble on the playground…
We had assembled once tonight already. It was said that teacher representatives had been called by school for conversation…
So teachers hurried from the place they stayed and rallied in front of the administration building to support those teachers called by the school…it was already 8 plus…
And we were assembled for some reason unknown again…
I felt a little nervous…not because of fear…I had no idea what was happening…
Then I was astonished…
The school used such abjective ways…
They came out at such late time, knocking on every teacher’s door, threatening them, saying, sign to come back to teach, or leave here…
What the hell…white terror?
What are their brains for? Came up with such a trick…
So at 00:30 A.M. all of us teachers rallied in front of the administration building, singing our national song, invading into the school master’s office…
Let free our teachers…
I saw those so-called relative leaders staying anxiously in the conference room not knowing what to do…
I saw that couple who throw insult into us. Saw the anxiety on their face…
I saw the school leaders losing their strength to threaten us anymore…
I knew…they’re on the edge…
What were they like? Dogs jumping over walls!!
So all the teachers singing “unity is power” in a high mood, going back for rest…
Leaving them there being anxious…
We could feel easy now…and more firm…
Unity is power…
Unity is power…
